Rainbows are the youngest members of Girlguiding, the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK, with over 500,000 members and 100,00 volunteers.
At the Rainbow unit in Houghton the girls have fun whilst developing their confidence, building new friendships and learning different things. There are always exciting things to do at Rainbows. The girls especially like to play games, do craft activities, earn badges and go on trips.
Rainbows meet in Houghton Village Hall from 5.30pm to 6.30pm each Thursday during term time. The unit always runs at capacity and there is a waiting list. It is never too early to register your details with the Unit Leader, Sue Doyle (Foxglove) who can be contacted on 07747 568607.
